Guardian of the Crystal was inspired by the artist’s deep interest in the idea of crystallization at the spiritual level combined with his childlike fascination with the many beautiful crystals found in nature. Here, the guardian is surrounded by a crystal Mandala. She generates healing energy from the magnificent sapphire held at her heart. The original 92cm x 70cm was done on Ingres paper using pastels. A4 print with bevelled mount in textured ivory approx 41cm x 33cm.
