Seymchan Meteorite Polished Face Slice Specimen

This is a specimen from a pallasite meteorite found in the magadan district of russia near the settlement of seymchan, it was discovered in the dried up hekandue river bed.the meteorite was found during a geological survey in june 1967. The main mass weighed 272 kilograms. A second mass of meteorite was discovered nearby in october of the same year.seymchan meteorite belongs to main group pallasites.size = 30mm long x 20mm wide x 1.75mm deep aprox.WEIGHT = 10g.
