Lady Fortunata, a ,healer ,and ,wise woman ,came to me out of the blue as i began to paint this picture. She rescued a cat from a poachers trap and healed him of life threatening injuries. Amfortas remains devoted to her because of her kindness and protects her whenever she goes out foraging for herbal remedies. Meadowsmere Castle is not all it seems in this astral landscape. This painting celebrates the numerous ,wise women ,that have healed the sick and lame throughout the ages.
