Diamond Descending was inspired by galvanic changes in the artist’s life. He was moved to paint the sense of solitariness experienced by the spiritual aspirant when embarking on a difficult path when everything is cut to the bone and one is exposed to the true nature of being. The original 46cm x 31cm was created on wood using gouache. A4 print with bevelled mount in textured ivory approx 41cm x 33 cm.
