a superbolide which exploded over the town of chelyabsk oblast, southern ural region, russia on 15th february 2013.
the meteor entered the atmosphere at a shallow angle and at high velocity and burst at an altitude of around 97,000 feet. The shockwave caused extensive damage to buildings and injured several people. The event was reported world wide in the media and was captured on video.
